Hello Everyone,
Well, here we go again—I'm gearing up for another round of the 111km Hawkesbury Canoe Classic! This time, I can’t claim ignorance is bliss, because I know exactly what I’m in for... and yes, that means I’m already a little nervous.
But wait, there’s more! In November, I’m doubling down on adventure (and maybe my sanity) by taking on the Massive Murray Paddle: a 415km race over 5 days along the famous Murray River. Apparently, I’ve decided that “leisurely paddle” is just not in my vocabulary this year.
So why am I doing this? I’m paddling with purpose to raise funds for Arrow, Australia’s only stem cell donor charity—a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. Arrow was there for me with kindness and support during my own stem cell transplants, and now I want to help them keep making a difference.
If you can, please share this page so it paddles its way onto as many social media feeds as possible.
Wish me luck (and maybe send some snacks)!
Big love,
Courtney
